The wedding of Miss Lucy Geraldine Piontkowski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Piontkowski, of
1222 VanHook street, and Mr. Arthur Richard Pepernik, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl P. Pepernik, of Johnson City, N. Y., takes place this afternoon at two o'clock in the R. C. Church of the Sacred Heart, this city. The Rev. James Moore, assistant pastor, is officiating.
The bride is being given in marriage by her father and is wearing a gown of cream velvet made on basque lines, long sleeves, square neckline and a train. Her veil of tulle is held by a velvet Dutch cap and she is carrying a prayer book with a shower of carnations and baby's breath. . Miss Naomi Chamber, of Oaklyn, is serving as maid of honor and Miss Bette Morris and Miss Emma Staas, of this city, are bridesmaids. They are wearing gowns fashioned like that of the bride with matching Dutch capes, Miss Chambers in emerald green and Miss Morris in Autumn brown, and Miss Staas in brick rust. All are carrying bronze Chrysanthemums. The flower girl, Barbara Falone, of Oaklyn, is wearing a similar frock in goldenrod velvet with cap to match and is carrying a nosegay of pompoms.
James Piontkowski, brother of the bride, is serving as best man and ushers include, Carl Woytek, of Johnson City, and Mac Pepernik, of Binghamton, N. Y., brother of the bridegroom.
Following a reception, the couple is leaving for a trip to the Thousand Islands and will be at home
following at 1431 Genesee street, Utica, N. Y.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Clarkson College of Technology, Potsdam, N. Y.

Arthur R. Parker, 84, died Saturday.
He was born Dec. 13, 1916, in Binghamton, N.Y. A retired mechanical engineer, he was a 20-year resident of Las Vegas and a member of Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his Wife, Maria-Jo; and son, Kenneth, both of Las Vegas; daughter Lynn Parker-Crail of Cairo, Egypt; stepsons, John DeLuca, Nicholas DeLuca and Frank DeLuca; and stepdaughter, Maria-Jo Isaac, all of Las Vegas; sister, Alma Cleaver of Fairfield, Conn; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. with a rosary at 5:30 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary-Cheyenne Mass will
be celebrated at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church followed by graveside services at Palm Valley View Memorial Park. The family requests memorial donations be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice.
