BLANCHARD -- On Saturday, September 29, 1956, at 3 o'clock a. m., EUGENIE POIMBEAUF, beloved wife of Cyprien Blanchard, mother of Lawrence, Edward, Henry, Eugene and Raymond Blanchard and Mrs. Lucille Landry, sister of Mrs. Alice Gillely, Mrs. John Larpentuer, Mrs. Arthur Tobler and Charles Poimbeauf, survived by 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, aged 74 years, a native of Labadieville, La., and a resident of this city for 30 years.
Relatives and friends of the family, also employes of Federal Barge Line, Waterway Terminal Corporation and Avondale Marine Ways, are invited to attend the funeral from the funeral home of Joseph Laughlin Company, 1300 Magazine street, on Sunday, September 30, 1956, at 3:45 p. m. Religious services at Our Lady of Good Counsel church, Louisiana avenue and Chestnut street.
Interment in Greenwood cemetery.
