The new realty offices of B. Piontkowski, 611 Market street, are ready for business after undergoing very lavish alterations.
Mr. Piontkowski's offices will take up the entire first story. The second and third floors will be devoted to apartments.
The offices are among the prettiest real estate suites in this section. Mr. Piontkowski will conduct a general real estate, mortgages and insurance business. REALTY ACQUIRED BY PIONTKOWSKI
Mt. Ephraim Realtor Buys Three Bungalows and Lots in That Vicinity
B. Piontkowski, realtor, of 611 Market street, has backed up his faith in the future of Mt. Ephraim values by purchasing $15,000 worth of property in that locality this week.
Mr. Piontkowski's home is in Mt. Ephraim and he has specialized largely in values in that section.
He acqired the two one and one-half story bungalows on Mt. Ephraim pike adjoining the school house. The lots run to Bell road in the rear.
Mr. Piontkoski has also purchased the corner property at White avenue and James street, consisting of a pretty two-story stucco residence and a lot measuring 135 by 135 feet.
Piontkowski is a strong Mt. Ephraim booster and believes that section will experience a great increase
in values between now and the completion of the bridge. He points out that Blackwood, which is more than
twice the distance from Camden, is enjoying an unprecedented realty boom and that Mt. Ephraim is destined to share greatly in the activity.

BRONISLAW (Bruno) PIONTKOWSKI
One of the youngest members of the Camden Real Estate Board, Realtor Piontkowski. a native son of the city of Camden, was born in 1897. His education was obtained in the local public schools. When he was eleven years old he went to work at the Castle Kid Company's plant as a "stamper" of leather; four years later, at the age of fifteen, he was working in the same plant as a "hefter," or weigher, of leather\emdash a type or work usually entrusted to persons whose knowledge of leather is broad, as such work ordinarily requires much skill and study. He went from the Castle Kid Company to the Peerless Kid Company, of Camden, and for three years functioned as a "measurer" of leather. In the meantime, two years before, or when he was sixteen years old, he invested ten dollars in two building lots at Lawnton, on Mt. Ephraim
pike, and, to use his own words, "those ten dollars have been working ever since." Incidentally, the real estate profession made its appeal to him and he entered the employ of the well-known real estate man. J. Lukens Anderson, then located at 1205 Broadway, Camden, in charge of the rental department. Four
years later he purchased his employer's business and building (then at 830 Market street), the name changing to Bronlslaw Piontkowski, Real Estate, Mortgages, Insurance. Feeling the need for larger quarters, he sold the building at 820 Market street, and on July 1, 1922, moved to 611 Market street, the present location of his offices. Mr. Piontkowski specialises on suburban property and centres his activities along Mt. Ephraim pike, going as far south as Blackwood. He believes absolutely in Mt. Ephraim pike. It was while associated with J. Lukens Anderson that he got the "lay of the land" down that way. He and Mr. Anderson sold the entire "one-acre-farm" development, comprising one hundred and forty-eight acres.
known as Camden County Garden Farms. This was accomplished in a single year.
An interesting side light in connection with the last recital is that at that time land at that location sold for $500 an acre; it is scarce now at $2000 an acre. About the same time Mr. Piontkowski took part in the sale of Fairfield Estates, a development consisting of 2900 building lots.
To use the metaphor: "Looking around the corner into the future," Realtor Piontkowski can see Mount Ephraim pike as another "gateway to the sea." In other words, it is bound to become (and at no greatly distant day) either the "Go" road or the "Return" road between the New Jersey Atlantic Seaboard and Camden, Philadelphia and the West. "Then look out for sky-limit real estate values along the Mt. Ephraim pike\emdash that's all." *

Bronislaw Piontkowski - For the past seven years Bronislaw Piontkowsk has been actively identified with the real estate and insurance business, but since 1920 he has been the owner and manager of the enterprise formerly owned and controlled by J. Lukens Anderson.
Lorenz Piontkowsi, father of Bronislaw Piontkowsk, was born in Germany, August 2, 1857, and in 1888 came to this country and settled in Camden, N.J. where he was engaged in business as a grocer to the time of his retirement. He married (first) Frances Gorski. She died in 1905, and he married (second) Constance Pawelezyk. Children of Lorenz Piontkowski are: Ladislaw; Laurence; Bronislaw; of further mention; Sophia, who married Samuel Mollick; Frances, who married Alex Olejkowski; and Clara.
Bronislaw Piontkowsk, son of Lorenz and Frances (Gorski) Piontkowski, was born in Camden, New Jersey, October 6, 1897, and received a practical education in the parochial and public schools of his native city. In 1912 he found his first employment with the Castile Kid Company, who were located on the corner of Broadway and Jackson streets, and that connection he maintained until 1916, when he accepted a position as manager of the rental department of the real estate and insurance business of J. Lukens Anderson. He found that line of business activity congenial and quickly developed a high degree of skill in appraising real estate values, as well as handling the business of the rental department. When the development of Mt. Ephraim began, the population was about four hundred. But through both Mr Piontkowski and J. Lukens Anderson's efforts the population was increased to 3,000. In 1920 he purchased the business and the building located at No. 320 Market Street, and there he conducted a prosperous business until July 1, 1922, when he removed to his present location at No. 611 Market Street. There he is constantly adding to the scope of his activities and increasing his already large patronage. In addition to a general real estate line, he carries fire and automobile insurance and also mortgages.
Mr. Piontkowski is secretary and one of the organizers of the Jan Sobieski Building and Loan Association; and director in Mt. Ephraim National Bank. He is a member of the Camden Real Estate Board, and serves his community as a member of the Volunteer Fire Company of Mount Ephraim and Northmont. He was acting court interpreter, Camden Court House, in Cumberland Circuit Courts, 1923-24. He enjoys baseball and football and is a skilled pool player. His religious affiliation is with St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church.
In All Saints' Church at Burlington, New Jersey, July 18, 1923 Bronislaw Piotkowski married Sophia H. Szostakowski, and they have one child: Wanda Frances born October 22, 1924. Mr and Mrs Piontkowski reside at No. 15 Sycamore Street, Mt Ephraim, New Jersey.
