Injuries Caused in Crash of Cars
Two persons were injured seriously about 4:30 p. m. Wednesday when the automobiles in which they were riding sideswiped one car and crashed into a truck near Almonaster and Marais.
The two injured were identified by police and Charity hospital attaches as Robert Gibson, 65, 1508 Alvar and W. F. Perryman, 31, 622 Alvar. Extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
Police said the district attorney's office will be consulted.
A third person injured in the wreck was identified as Genevieve Waller, 46, 206 Marais. She was a passenger in the same car with Gibson. She was not believed seriously hurt.
Police said their car was traveling along Marais at a high rate of speed when it sideswiped an automobile, crossed the neutral ground into the opposite lane of traffic and crashed into the side of a truck.
The other auto, said officers, was being driven by James E. Fernandez, 25, 4318, and the truck by Domino Patania, 47, 2610 Congress.

Domiano Patania, on Wednesday, May 12, 1976 at 1:00 a. m., husband of the late Seraphine Chenniliaro by first marriage and the late Frances Sansone by second marriage, father of Mrs. George (Rose Mary) Silbernagel, Mrs. John (Catherine) Alesich, Jr., Mrs. Charles (Mary) de Carvelho, Mrs. Don (Delores) Fryer, and the late Domiano Patania, Jr., step-father of Mrs. Dorothy Burke, Donald, Louis, Victor, and Richard Rini, son of the late Rose Tomasello and Michael Patania, brother of Mrs. Charles (Lena) Johnson and the late Dominick and Lawrence Patania, also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Age 68. A native and life long resident of N. O., La.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services from the Funeral Home of Lamana-Panno-Fallo, Inc., 625 N. Rampart St., on Friday, May 14, 1976 at 9:15 a. m. Requiem Mass at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Interment in St. Vincent dePaul No. 2 Cemetery. Friends may call after 6:00 p. m. Thursday.
