Stella Lennox "Bee" English, retired owner-operator of the English Nursery School, died Monday at Chateau Living Center. She was 83. Mrs. English was born in New Orleans and lived
there until moving to Metairie 19 years ago. She was a graduate of Dominican High School. She ran the nursery school for 30 years and worked for the Jefferson Parish Library for 10 years.
Survivors include three daughters, JoAnn English Andrews of Kenner, Barbara English Pfeifle of Lexington, Ky., and Beverly English of Chatou, France; a sister, Glory Kieffer of New Orleans; nine grandchildren and four great~grandchildren.
A Mass will be said today at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 105 Bonnabel
Blvd, Metairie. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home is in
charge of arrangements.
