New Orleans Physician Succumbs to Heart Attack

Dr. Rene A. Murphy, New Orleans physician, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home, 1718 Prytania street, Wedneasday night. He was 62 years old.
Dr. Murphy had attended services at St. Patrick's church on Camp street and complained of feeling ill soon after arriving home. He was a graduate of Spring Hill college at Mobile and of Tulane university medical school.
His widow, Mrs. Antonia Apps Murphy; three brothers, Lawrence and Charles of New Orleans and E. J. of Portland, Ore., and four sisters, Mrs. Warren J. Crane, Mrs. Ben Galloway, Mrs. Lyman Greenwood and Mrs. George P. Crane, all of New Orleans, survive.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p. m. today at St. Theresa's church, Erato and Camp street. Interment will be private.

Funeral from the residence, 1718 Prytania street, thus (Thursday) afternoon, February 21 1929, at 3:30 o'clock. Services at At. Theresa's church, Erato and Camp streets.
Interment private.
