Henry Joseph Muniz Jr., a retired television repair manager at Krauss Co., died Sunday at Lakeland Medical Center. He was 88. Mr. Muniz was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. Survivors include his wife, Mary LaRosa Muniz; a daughter, Marilyn Muniz Silbernagel; a brother, Raymond Muniz of Miami; a sister, Carolyn Muniz McLancey of Miami; and a grandchild. A funeral will be held today at 1 p.m. at All Faiths Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Loving Father of Marilyn Muniz Silbernagel. Father-in-law of the late John "Jay" Silbernagel, Jr. Grandfather of John Silbernagel III. Son of the late Florence Weigand and Henry J. Muniz, Sr. Brother of Carolyn Muniz McLaney of Miami, FL., Raymond Muniz of Miami, FL., and the late Lillian Muniz. Also survived by loving cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.
