" I am saddened to hear of the death of a friend and classmate. I reconnected with Frank a couple of years ago when we stayed at his RV park there in the valley. At that time Frank was working on the Taum Sauk Project and it was so good to see him and visit with him for that short time.

Last year as we came through Ironton again, when I tried to contact Frank I learned from Eva that he has just gotten home from the hospital and was a pretty sick fellow. When I later inquired about Frank from my family members I heard (some time ago) that he was doing better and I was so glad to hear that. But health battles are hard ones to fight sometimes and sometimes we lose them. I will always remember Frank from our school days. I will always remember his dad's gas station and the Moses family. They were a major part of the community.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. "

" Frank is my cousin. My father, Jim Connelly is Frank's mom, Lillian's baby brother. My deepest sympathy to Eva and the whole Moses family. I have great memories of traveling with my family from New Orleans to visit every summer and staying at my granddad's place across the highway from Mimosa Village. Frank was larger than life to me then. I got to ride with Boots (I think uncle Orie called him that) on a couple of mobile home delivery and installations. What adventures! After my grandad Pop Connelly died and my dad Jim passed too, Frank and Don helped us gain access for the Boy Scouts to granddad's rock pile on Russell Mountain. I feel the loss you all must feel, but I can see them all together now, Grandpa, my dad, aunt Lillian, Uncle Orie and Frank. The sufferings over for them.
The tough part is honoring them by pressing on. God's blessings Eva.
Love you! Peter "

" I have fond memories of cousin Frank when we would come up to Pop Connelly's for summer vacation-- he would drive my older sisters to the "devil's Icebox" and God knows where else in a jeep-- this was big time stuff for this city-slicker! I remember he had a trailer-hauler called "running bear".
I alwyas thought that he was related to Elvis or something!
I'll miss Frank. He was a good man. I know that he is in heaven with Uncle Orie, Aunt Lillian, Pop Connelly and others, perfected by Jesus Christ. God Blass, Eva... my heart is heavy for you,
Love, Paul "
