Funeral Services for Mrs. Joseph P. Skelly, widow of the former commissioner of public property with the city of New Orleans, will be conducted from the P. J. McMahon and Sons, Inc., Funeral Home, 4800 Canal St., Saturday at 9:45 a.m.
Religious rites will follow at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 775 Harrison Ave. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Skelly died Thursday afternoon at Southern Baptist Hospital after a long illness. She was 84.
Active pallbearers will be Paul D. Cordes Jr., Patrick Skelly D'Antoni, Dr. A. J. Kreller III, Skelly Keller, Joseph Patrick Skelly and Kevin McDonald Skelly.
Honorary pallbearers will be W. Stanley Behrman, M. Robert McNamara, Dr. Lloyd Eyrich, Dr. Joseph S. D'Antoni, Dr. Charles B. Odom, Myles P. Morrison, Raymond A. Richards, Edward Finley, Hugh E. Humphrey Sr. and Futzhugh Lee Guedry.

Mrs. Gertrude Morrison Skelly on Thursday afternoon, November 25, 1971 at 4 o'clock p.m. Wife of the late Joseph Patrick Skelly; mother of Mrs. A. J. Kreeler Jr., Mrs. Theo Hotard Jr., Mrs. Paul D. Cordes, Jane Patricia, and James Thomas Skelly and the late Mrs. Joseph D'Antoni; sister of Mrs. Raymond A. Richards, and the late Myles and John T. Morrison; also survived by sixteen grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Services from the P. J. McMahon & Sons Funeral Home, 4800 Canal St. (Parking in rear) on Saturday morning, November 27, 1971 at 9: 45 o'clock followed by Requiem Mass at St. Dominick Church.
Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends may call after 5 o'clock Friday evening. Recitation of the Rosary at 8 o'clock.
Masses preferred. Preference optional.
