LAWRENCEBURG, IND., November 3. - The people of this city were to-day greatly surprised at the announcement of the very unexpected and sudden death of Mrs. Ezra G. Hayes. Mrs. Hayes had been sick but a few hours with heart disease, and died before medical aid could be summoned. No lady in the city was more respected and honored for her noble works of charity and kindness to the poor that was Mrs. Hayes.
