CLARENCE C. LAKE
Clarence C. Lake, 1034 NE Grand Ave, a retired retail grocer for Meier & Frank, died Sunday in a Portland hospital.
Born in Cleves, Ohio, he came to Oregon in 1914, after spending eight years in Los Angeles. He moved to Portland from Pleasant Hill in 1919 and spent the rest of his life here.
He is survived by his wife, Mamie; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Bringdale, of Portland; a son, Carl, of Woodcross, Utah; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Ramsey, of Los Angeles; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday.
