Carl Kontak Obituary
April 8, 2004 Carl F. Kontak, 101, of Camillus, died Thursday at Van Duyn Home & Hospital. He lived in the Bronx for 70 years and Camillus since 1997. He was employed by Paragon Revolute for 25 years and Charles Bruning Corp. in Teterboro, NJ, for 20 years, retiring in 1968. He was a member of the Franklin Masonic Lodge #195.
His wife, the former Ethel Silbernagel, died in 1973. Surviving are: his sons, Robert Kontak of Camillus and Karl Kontak of Ridge, Long Island; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Local services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Out-of-town services will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Weigand Bros. Funeral Home in Williston Park. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in Nassau Knolls Cemetery, Port Washington.
