Another Pioneer Gone--Death of Judge Isaac Dunn

After a sojurn of five years at Columbia - in March 1793, during the time of a great freshet that swept away their cabin and smoke house, their household goods were put on board of two canoes, lashed together for that purpose. Captain Dunn and family then removed down to the mouth of the Great Miami, where they found a station formed by Captain Joseph Hayes, his sons-in-law, Thomas Miller and James Bennett; Alex. Guard and family, Wm. Gerard and family, Isaac Polke, Garret Van Ness, and others, living in block houses well fortified.....
