James E. Miller, 87, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Golden Living Center, Brandywine. He was born November 11, 1922 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana to the late Ernest E. and Angie G. (Lowe) Miller. James was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He retired as an account representative for Hahn Systems. He was a member of the Greenfield Christian Church and a long time member of the Greenfield American Legion Post 119.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Louise Miller of Greenfield; daughter, Suzanne Koontz of Indianapolis; son, Bud Miller of Petoskey, MI; grandson, Jason; 2 great-granddaughters; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Park Cemetery, Greenfield with Pastor Glenn Kimball officiating. Military rites will be provided by the Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard. Friends may call at the Greenfield Christian Church from 1:00 until 2:30p.m. on Wednesday.
