John Bradley McWilliams passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the age of 83. Husband by first marriage to Syvonne Hargis and by second marriage to Joyce Thompson McWilliams. Loving father of Sandy Lowe, Dale McWilliams and Debbie Esquinance. Son of the late Lucille and George McWilliams, Sr. Brother of Patricia Billon and the late George McWilliams, Jr. Grandfather of Melissa and Mechele Hughes, Brittany and Laurie Esquinance and Kyle McWilliams. Great-grandfather of Christopher and Audrey.

He was a native of Ponchatoula and a longtime resident of Covington where he was a Reserve Lieutenant with the Mandeville Police and St. Tammany Sheriffs Departments. Mr. McWilliams was the owner and founder of Petro Weld Oil Services and Dale Mac Oil Services. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WW II.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 with visitation on Friday beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Ponchatoula Cemetery.
