Dick, Jr., Harold, Lawrence and George Dick; daughter of the late Lawrence Mendel and Elizabeth Wingerter, sister of Edward Mendel of New Orleans, La, James Mendel of San Francisco, Calif., and the late Daniel, E. Henry, John and May Mendel, also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; age 70 years; a native and resident of New Orleans.
Relatives and friends of the family, also employes of Le Pavillon Hotel, Criminal Sheriff's Office, Criminal Courts, Parish Prison, Charity Hospital, Louisiana Department of Employment Security, officers and members of Reliable Democratic Association, Louisiana Democratic Organization and Good Old Timers Social Club and New Orleans Police Department are invited to attend the funeral services from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, Magazine at Philip, parking 2215-2300 Magazine Street, on Saturday afternoon, October 27, 1973 at 2:00 o'clock followed by Requiem mass at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
Interment in St. Joseph No. 1 Cemetery.
