MELANCON -- On Tuesday, Oct. 4, 1960, at 1:10 o'clock p. m., MANOLE JOSEPH MELANCON, husband of Ondine LaGrange, father of Mrs. Edwin Monteleone and Mrs. Ben Birdsal, stepfather of Freddie and Larry Blanchard, Mrs. Clifford Rodrigue and the late Leroy Blanchard, brother of James, Bill, Lawrence, Dan and the late Edward L. Marcelin, Tip. Melancon, Mrs. John A. Schaffer Sr., Mrs. M. W. Deckelmann Sr., Mrs. Eldon Willoz Sr., and Mrs. Malcolm Perez. Survived by three grandchildren and 10 step granchildren. Age 53 years. A native of Houma, la. and a resident of Marrero, La, for 19 years.
Relatives and friends of the family, also employes of American Manufacturing Company Inc., are invited to attend the funeral, which will take place from the funeral home of Joseph Laughlin Co., 4500 Magazine st. on Thursday, Oct. 6, 1960, at 2 o'clock p. m.
Interment in Lake Lawn Park. Parlors will be open Wednesday at 2 p. m.
