McWILLIAMS, JOEl GEORGE SR.
Died at 5 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 1974, at Seventh Ward General Hospital, Hammond. He was 73, a native of New Orleans and resident of Ponchatoula. He was a retired civil engineer and veteran of World War I.
Body at Thomas Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, until 9:45 a.m. Friday. Religious services at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ponchatoula, at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial in Ponchatoula Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survived by a daughter, Mrs. W. R. (Patsy) Billon, New Orleans; two sons, George McWilliams Jr., Ponchatoula, and John (Jack) McWilliams, Mandeville; a sister, Mrs. Eugene Trust, Shreveport; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Lucille Bradley McWilliams.
