Died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, 1976, at Medicenter. She was 84, a native and resident of Prairieville. Body to be at Welsh Funeral Home, Gonzales, with visiting from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Religious services at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Sunday. Burial in Carpenter Chapel Cemetery, Galvez. Survived by one daughter, Mrs. Rena Burns, Prairieville; one son, Riley Evans, Prairieville; one sister, Mrs. Corine Lassare, Baton Rouge; one brother, Jack McCrory, Baton Rouge; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Wally Evans.
