Bell was born in Kentucky, as were her parents. Living with them is Charles' daughter Dorothy from his first marriage. Dorothy is 15 years old and was born in Indiana. Also living with them is Charles' mother, Josephine Dumont (sp?), 73 years old and born in Indiana.

DUMONT -- On Thursday, Sept. 2, 1915, at 10:55 p. m., JOSEPHINE A. DUMONT, beloved mother of C. F. Hayes, age 81 years, a native of Lawrenceburg, Ind., and a resident of this city 10 years.
The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, which will take place This (Sunday) Afternoon at 4 o'clock, from the funeral parlors of P. J. McMahon & Sons, 1112 Dryades street.
Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
