Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. to religious services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Billie Kennedy. Burial in Carter Cemetery, Springfield. Survived by five daughters, Mrs. Billie (Irene) Kennedy, Springfield, Mrs. Sal (Phyl) Serio, Metairie, Mrs. Edward (Betty) Bauerle, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Robert (Beatrice) Simon, Springfield, and Mrs. Allen (Lorraine) Lard, Holden; a son, Douglas Richardson, Springfield; five sisters, Mrs. Norman (Mable) Gill, Albany, Mrs. Taft (Louise) Richardson, Mrs. Ellsworth (Josephine) Richardson, Mrs. Scott (Hazel) Rushing and Mrs. Marion (Elizabeth) St. Cyr, all of Springfield; a brother, Freddie Bazile, Springfield; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
