His ancestry was german-cherokee, and his surviving spouse was Gean Mcomber. Billie was educated through 12th grade. His father was Ralph Barnes. His mother was Katie Lucinda Brown. Burial to take place in Corvallis Cemetery, Corvallis, Montana. Cause of death was pneomonia, 1 week, with contributing dementia.

Billy Barnes
HAMILTON \emdash Billy Barnes, 70, of Hamilton died Friday, Aug. 29, at Valley View Estates.
He was born on July 30, I927, in Prescott, Ark., the son of Ralph and Katie Barnes. Following his education, he joined the US. Army and served during World War II. Following his discharge be settled in Spokane.
On Feb. 5, 1958, he married Gean McOmber of Deer Lodge in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The couple made their home in Spokane for two years where he managed a drive-in and then spent two years in Pasco, Wash, and one year in Houston where he also managed a drive-in. He bought the Range Cafe in Hamilton in July of 1963 and operated it until 1992 when he retired.
He was a member of the Hamilton Elks and Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Gean of Hamilton; his children, Dennis and wife Jan of Chilliquine, Ore., Jimmy of Spokane, David and wife Pam of Spokane, Brett and wife Karen of Okinawa, Japan, and Cindy of Wasilla, Alaska; his father, Ralph of Prescott: a sister, Emma Gene and husband Dick Stuart of Prescott; a sister-in-law. Barbara Jean Barnes of Prescott; 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother James, both of Prescott.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at the DaIy-Leach Chapel with the Rev. Gordon Read
officiating. Interment will follow at the .Corvallis Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
Arrangements are by the Daly-Leach Chapel.
