Mr. Adam Lobell of Springfield marked his 88th birthday Sunday at the home of his son, Mr. Travis Lobell, in Springfield. Family members gathered at noon for a birthday dinner.

LOBELL, ADAM M.
Died Thursday Feb. 3 at 2:30 a.m. at his residence in Springfield. He was 90, a native of Thomas Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, where religious services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. Interment in Carter Cemetery, Springfield. He is survived by five sons: Adam Bernard Lobell, New Orleans; Russell Eugene Lobell and Donald Travis Lobell, both of Springfield, Vernon Noel Lobell and Elmer Jerome Lobell, Hammond; three daughters, Mrs. Stoddard, New Orleans, Mrs. Allie Fauntleroy, Springfield, Mrs. Brunette Needham, Walker; a sister, Mrs. Clestine Hebert, French Settlement; four brothers, Clestain Richard, Alceste and Noel Lobell, all of French Settlement; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
