FOS - On Sunday, August 5, 1962, at 8:40 o'clock p. m., JOSEPHINE LEROUGE, beloved wife of John L. Fos Sr.; mother of Peter (Lawrence) Fos Sr. and John L. Fos Jr; sister of Mrs. John Bonfiglio, Oscar J. Lerouge, the late Mrs. Leonard Hayes and George Lerouge; daughter of the late Elizabeth Schmitt and Jeff Lerouge; also survived by seven grand children and one great-grandchild; age 72 years; a native of New Orleans, La.
Relatives and friends of the family, also employes of United Fruit Co., Burgundy Cleaners, Leonard Krower & Sons, officers and members of New Orleans Police Department, P. M. B. A., Ninth Ward Pleasure Club, Ninth Ward Home Demonstration, St. Cecilia Altar and Holy Name Societies, Golden Age Club, New Orleans Steamship Clerks Local No. 1497 and the Krewe of Mid-City, are invited to attend the funeral.
Services from the funeral home of Jacob Schoen & Son, Inc., 527 Elysian Fields Ave. (parking 2223 Chartres St.) on Tuesday, August 7, 1962, at 8:45 o'clock a. m., with Requiem High Mass at St. Cecilia church, 1015 France St.
Interment in St. Vincent de Paul cemetery.
